Our Story

The Farm

To celebrate cultural heritage and provide naturally grown, high quality, culturally important food and flowers to the DC metro community. We envision a community with full access to food that celebrates our culture and heritage and centers community.

Our vision is food sovereignty and nutritious, locally-grown and distributed food for all. We value Afro-ecological teachings of farming, cultural organizing, and healing justice.

Kisii Roots

Celebration, joy, culture, community and reclaiming the traditions of our ancestors is interwoven in our farm work. These pictures honor our ancestors and the pathways they have created for us.
